Care should be taken to ensure the throttle body O-ring is correctly placed in the manifold during installation for the 2.0/2.4L engine. Set the throttle body next to the intake manifold alignment pins and put in two un-tightened bolts. After that, put the throttle body bracket in place and tighten the throttle body bolts by turning them in a cross pattern to 9 Nm (79.5 in. lbs.). When done securing the bracket, hook the electrical connector to the throttle body, put in the air tube and attach the wire harness to the air tube. Now, link the negative cable back to the car again. If you use a Scan Tool, make sure to select the ETC Relearn option under Miscellaneous or it will cause a diagnostic trouble code to set. If required, fix DTC's that you identify using a scan tool.
