How to Remove the Antenna Cable and Body on Jeep Wrangler?

Beforeyou try to take apart the antenna body and cable, you must first disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. After that, take the glove box out of the instrument panel. Access from the glove box to unplug both antenna coaxial cables from their line connector. Twist the antenna mast counterclockwise until it comes free from the base at the right outer cowl side panel. Lightly use your trim stick to pry open the edge of the antenna base trim cover which will help it come apart from the antenna body. Take out the three screws that hold the antenna's body base to the side panel on the right. Pull the coaxial cable grommet on the antenna side out through the hole on the right side of the inner cowl panel. Pull the antenna body base and cable out of the body through the hole in the outer right cowl cover.

The order for satellite antenna cable installation is the cable itself, then the instrument panel speaker, the glove box and finally the cowl trim. After that, attach the lower B-pillar trim and the top as well. Take the other end of the negative lead out of the box and put it on the terminal.
