How to Maintain and Fix a Belt Tensioner on Jeep Wrangler?

Before servicing or repairing the drive belt tensioner, take out the accessory drive belt. After that, clear the pulley bolt, bushing, pulley and spacer away. After that, get rid of the tensioner adjustment bolt and remove the tensioner collar as well. During installation, attach the tensioner collar and then fix the tensioner adjustment bolt in place. Then, put together the spacer, idler pulley, bushing and bolt and finally install the accessory drive belt.
