How to Remove and Service a Fog Light Bulb on Jeep Wrangler?

Before servicing a fog / driving lamp bulb on export vehicles, make sure to disengage and isolate the battery negative wire. Use your hand to go back and underneath the rear bumper to reach the take out and connector of the wire harness at the outboard end. Squeeze the connector and socket at the back of the housing, then turn them counterclockwise for 30 degrees to free it up. Pull the socket and bulb up from the keyed opening in the base and then straighten the socket to remove the base.

After that, hold the bulb and turn it a third of the way to the left in the socket before pulling it from the housing.
