How Does Wheelhouse Assist in Servicing and Repairing the Rear Fender Liner on Jeep Wrangler?

To take care of the rear liner, lift the car so it's supported. Once the wheel and tire are removed, the front wheel house liner is visible. Elsewhere, remove all six pins (push/pins) and every bolt (seven of them) from the wheel house liner. Unplug the wheel speed sensor harness (1) from inside the wheel house liner, then take out the front wheel house liner from the front opening in the wheel house. For the back, pull out the wheel flare rivets (2), unfasten the push pin fasteners (4) and grab the splash shield (2). When equipped, loosen and take out the screws to remove the splash guard (2).

How to Install Wheelhouse Liners and Splash Guards on Jeep Wrangler?

First, place the front wheel house liner into the opening and then join the wheel speed sensor harness (1) to the liner. After securing the liner with push/pins at (6) and (9), install and tighten all (7) bolts as described by the manufacturer. Once you've finished, fix the wheel and tire in place and tighten them to the right torque. For the back, when present, the first step is to hook on the splash guard (2) with the suitable screws, then connect the splash shield (2) with the push pin fasteners (4). attachment rivets should be used to finish securing the flare on the sides (point 2 in instructions).

To take care of the rear liner, lift the car so it's supported. Once the wheel and tire are removed, the front wheel house liner is visible. Elsewhere, remove all six pins (push/pins) and every bolt (seven of them) from the wheel house liner. Unplug the wheel speed sensor harness (1) from inside the wheel house liner, then take out the front wheel house liner from the front opening in the wheel house. For the back, pull out the wheel flare rivets (2), unfasten the push pin fasteners (4) and grab the splash shield (2). When equipped, loosen and take out the screws to remove the splash guard (2).

First, place the front wheel house liner into the opening and then join the wheel speed sensor harness (1) to the liner. After securing the liner with push/pins at (6) and (9), install and tighten all (7) bolts as described by the manufacturer. Once you've finished, fix the wheel and tire in place and tighten them to the right torque. For the back, when present, the first step is to hook on the splash guard (2) with the suitable screws, then connect the splash shield (2) with the push pin fasteners (4). attachment rivets should be used to finish securing the flare on the sides (point 2 in instructions).
