Take out the old bracket and bolts, wash the mounting pads and see whether there are any cracks. Install the new Alternator Bracket on the engine, hand thread bolts and adjust the alternator until a crank pulley matches the alternator pulley. Screw the bolts to the required length with a drop of thread locker, re-thread the belt, and regain the correct tension. Turn spin pulleys by hand, reconnect battery, turn on the engine, and can hear squeaks or belt wander, a smooth idle indicates that it is working, so Ram keeps its charging system in good condition.
