Ram Intake Valve increases the torque at low rpm, and reduces the fuel consumption. Ram split with Dodge in 2010 and has since pursued comfort as vigorously as power, so Ram pickups have air suspension, which lifts two to eight inches on rough roads, a low profile that cuts drag, and a secure cargo lockable RamBox. Installation of an Intake Valve requires disconnection of the battery, removal of the valve cover and recording of the cam timing marks, compression of the spring using an appropriate tool, removal of the keepers and slide out the old valve. Wipe the guide and seat, change the stem seal and the face can be lightly lapped until it appears as an even ring. Insert the new part, give the spring a release and the keepers that you released and spin the assembly manually to ensure the smooth seating. Install the cam, adjust lash to spec, re-fit gaskets, covers, and plugs, and start the motor to ensure that it runs at steady idle. Lastly, hear at or close to Intake Valve any tap.
