The Ram Intercooler is installed between the turbocharger and intake, thus the air that it cools is the compressed air, which then expands into the engine, thus breathing in more dense oxygen rather than additional fuel, resulting in more powerful engine output without any additional fuel. Disassemble the front grille, sliding the old core to the left, avoiding charge pipes and sensors. Install new gaskets, fit the new Intercooler in the mounts, clamp the halves evenly, and hose out the fan blades. Install the grille back, reconnect the power pack, fire up the truck and look under steady throttle and check whether the Ram Intercooler is in place and that the flow is unobstructed.
