In addition to that helper, a Ram pays off drivers with open and quiet cabins, huge touch screens, the ingenious RamBox of lockable bedside storage, air suspension, which drops to a low level to save fuel or raises eight inches to head to rough roads, and an e-Torque mild hybrid system that enhances low-speed performance and reduces fuel consumption. The replacement of the worn-out Ram Lift Support is a matter of minutes when it is time to do it. Prop the hood or the gate first, then identify the worn part and then mark the end where you see it facing. Using a little flat object, pry under each retaining clip, swing the sockets above the ball studs and remove the old strut. Ensure that the new Lift Support is the same length as and fittings and dab a little lubricant on the studs and then attach each socket to the new Lift Support with the rod facing downwards. Stomp the clips into place again, drop the temporary prop and repeat the cycling process of the panel a couple of times to ensure that the motion remains smooth and the seal closes well.
