In order to fit the Spool Valve, one should initially check the part number, disconnect the battery and release the hydraulic pressure. Open the housing containing the old unit, label the positions of the hose, and pull it out taking care not to cause any debris. Clean up mating surfaces, apply thin coat of fresh oil to new seals, insert new Spool Valve straight into its ports making sure that lands are flat. Install fuel-bolts to meet, reintegrate harness and lines, replace fluid, bleed air, and test cycle system during idle and check for leaks and fluid transitioning.
