The routing centre of the transmission is a Valve Body that directs the pressurized fluid along the passageways and spool valves to have every gear interacting when it was needed. Installation of one would require lifting and supporting the Ram truck safely, draining transmission oil, pan dropping, and changing the filter after marking the position of the bolts. Unscrew solenoid wiring, drop old Valve Body, polish gasket surfaces then follow-up new Valve Body and hand start all bolts. Install cross pattern Torque bolts, reconnect harnesses, install fresh gasket to pan, add factory specified fluid, clear adaptation memories (where necessary), idle engine when verifying no leaks, and road test to verify the crisp shifts.
