Then, remove the latch rods and, using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the latch's attachment to the door end frame. During installation, move the door latch into place and use screws to fix the unit to the door end frame. Snap the linkage rods back into place on the latch and join them to the door latch using the clips. After that, attach the lower rear run channel, open the door glass and set the rear door trim panel into place. Avoid closing the door until you have pulled the latch, just in case it prevents the door from opening.
