How to Service and Repair a Trunk Lid Latch on 2000 Chrysler Cirrus?

In order to service the trunk/liftgate latch, open the decklid and separate the latch cover clips and wire connections. Uninsert the bolts that fix the latch, and pull it out. To install it, screw the new latch and reconnect the wires and attach the clips as well as close the decklid.
