Service and repair the drive belt by first loosening the bolt under the generator pivot and the keyed nut above it, as well. After that, take out the belt tension by adjusting the bolt and then remove the belt. While installing, route the belt on the pulleys so that it is correct. Before anything else, tighten the lock nut with 21 Nm and tighten the pivot bolt using 54 Nm to place the generator assembly correctly. Hold the tension for the belt by adjusting the bolt in the specified way and afterwards fasten the lock nut to a value of 54 Nm. Once more, first release the locking nuts on the roof of the vehicle and, see under, loosen both bolts that hold the belt down until the belt can be removed. For installation, place the belt around all pulleys following the right order, tighten the fasteners somewhat and adjust and tighten the improving bolt correctly. The next step is to tighten the locking nuts and pivot bolt to 54 Nm.
