How to Service and Repair a Front Engine Mount on 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Before you work on the front engine mount, get a floor jack to support the assembly and make sure it doesn't rotate. Remove the mount between the front engine and the engine insulator. After that, unscrew the six air dam screws and gain access to the front mount screws; remove these plus the insulator assembly. Should you need to, disconnect the front mounting bracket. During installation, turn things around and secure the fasteners using these torques: for the main bolt and other specified parts, you need 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.); for the special part, it's 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.;) and for the other, you need 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) Lastly, tighten the six screws on the air dam to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
