How to Service and Repair a Timing Cover on 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

In order to repair the timing cover, it is necessary to disconnect the negative cable, remove the upper radiator support, fan module and accessory drive belts and then the crankshaft damper. Take the power steering pump and timing chain cover off. Cleaned, gaskets replaced and components reinstalled, tightening bolts to specified torque. Reconnect the negative cable.
