To repair the Evaporative Emission Control Canister Disconnect the negative battery cable and raise the vehicle. Remove hoses and a nut from canister bracket, remove canister. Reinstall by securing it with two nuts, reconnect hoses and tighten the bracket nut before lowering the vehicle and reconnecting the battery.
