Start by removing the negative battery cable and then position the vehicle on correct support. Disconnect the hoses from the EVAP canister and take out just one nut holding the bracket against the canister. Remove the EVAP canister from the holder on the car. Place the EVAP canister back into position, using two nuts to attach it and tighten them to 6.7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Place the EVAP canister and bracket back on your vehicle, attaching all hoses and tighten the nut to 22.4 Nm (250 in. lbs.). The last step is to lower the jack and attach the negative battery cable again.
