How to Service a Dimmer Switch on 2000 Dodge Ram 3500?

To work on the dimmer switch, disconnect the battery negative cable. Remove the steering column shrouds and multi function switch. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness, and then reinstalled the multi-function switch and connected the wire harness. Put the shrouds back together and reattach the battery cable.
