  A: Before you service the front blower motor resistor, make sure to cut off and separate the battery negative cable. Unhook the wire harness connector from the blower motor resistor which is on the inside edge of the heater/A/C housing. Unscrew the two blower motor resistor screws on the heater-A/C housing and remove the front blower motor resistor. Slide the front blower motor resistor into the mounting hole on the heater-A/C housing located inside and use the two screws to attach it, making sure the tightness is set to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Attach the front blower motor resistor wire harness connection again and then finish by connecting the battery negative cable.
