How to Replace an A/C Hose in an HVAC System for Discharge Hose on 2000 Dodge Stratus?

The first step in replacing the A/C discharge hose/line is to get rid of refrigerant from the system, using a recovery machine. Following that, unplug the A/C pressure transducer wire harness and use Special Tool kit 7193 to get rid of the quick connect clip and disconnect the quick connect from the condensor. All the lines you're not updating and those connected to expansion valves should be capped. After that, unplug the line connecting to the A/C compressor and take away the discharge line. While uninstalling, do the opposite of the first steps and tighten bolts to 22 Nm (200 in. lbs.).
