  A: Start by disconnecting and cutting off the battery negative cable if you wish to service the rear cigarette lighter. Open the dust cap on the rear cigarette lighter receptacle place and study the placement of the two rectangular bosses holding it in place on the quarter trim panel. Involve the tips of your pliers with the retaining bosses using external snap ring pliers and then squeeze them to separate, slightly moving the pliers to get the base out of the mount. After removing the receptacle, pull back the quarter trim panel to the right and disconnect the wire harness connector within. After unfastening the rear cigarette lighter mount from the right quarter trim panel, slide the grooves from the mount's outside onto the splines of the receptacle base connector and then push the receptacle base through the mount halfway into place. Join the right body wire harness connector to the rear cigarette lighter receptacle base connector, seal them and insert until the receptacle is sitting flush in the right quarter trim panel.
