2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Seat Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Perform a Seat Switch for the Driver's Side Memory Function on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: Separate and remove the battery negative wire before changing the memory switch. Take the trim panel out of the driver side front door and remove the memory switch wire harness connector from the driver door module connector receptacle. After that, take out the two screws that hold the memory switch to the trim panel on the back of the driver side front door, then pull the switch out. The new memory switch should be put onto the driver's door at the back and then the two screws should be installed and tightened to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Next, snap the memory switch wire harness connector onto the driver door module connector, drop the trim panel back into place by the driver and attach the negative battery cable.
