After that, use a flathead screwdriver to separate the clips below the air cleaner cover, lift the cover to remove it and expose the air filter. Removing the old air filter from the housing and cleaning the inside and cover of the air cleaner housing should be done before you fit the new air filter. Place the air filter into its housing. Make sure the cover is attached to the air cleaner and snap in the air tube afterward.
