  A: The fuel level sensor, which is the same as the fuel gauge sending unit and float assembly, is connected to the fuel pump inside the fuel tank on the side of it. Remove the fuel tank first and after that, take out the fuel pump module. Lose the power from the electrical wire connector, detach it from the fuel level sensor and press the button to release the fuel level sensor from the pump module. For installation, set the fuel level sensor on the pump module, push it into place until it snaps, then reattach the electrical connector to the terminals and finally place the fuel pump module plus the fuel tank back in their positions.
