2000 Jeep Wrangler Fuel Injector Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Fuel Injector on 2000 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before servicing the fuel injector, remove the fuel rail. Take out the clip(s) holding the fuel injector(s) to the fuel rail. Then, attach the fuel injector(s) to the fuel rail and tighten them with the retaining snap. Whenever you are reinstalling the same injector, make sure to fix new O-rings. Oil each injector O-ring with a little clean engine oil, as this will help you put them in place. After completing the checklist, install the fuel rail back where it belongs, crank the engine and watch for fuel leaks.
