How to Maintain Rack And Pinion Bushings in Power Steering Systems on 2001 Chrysler LHS?

To service the power rack and pinion bushings, remove the unit from the car. Use Special Tools 8523-2 and C-4212F for pressing out the bushings. For assembly, repeat the process to seat the new bushings in the housing so that they make proper alignment and contact with the retainer washer.
