How to Service and Repair a Thermostat Housing on 2001 Chrysler Sebring?

To repair the thermostat housing, drain the cooling system, remove the thermostat, disconnect the coolant sensor and heater hose and remove the housing and gasket. Clean surfaces, install new gasket and housing, tighten bolts (28 Nm), reconnect sensor, install thermostat and refill cooling system.
