How to Maintain the Wiper Arm on 2001 Chrysler Sebring?

Before service, place the wiper arm and wiper blades straight into the PARK position, then turn the ignition OFF. Release the cover by unclipping the strap and use your hands to side to side, moving it away from the arm's pivot; when handling the left side, raise the hood for an opening. Using a universal claw puller, release the nut that holds the bicep arm, then wedge it into the collar on the other side. Press sideways until the arm is loose. After you've unscrewed the arm and removed the nut, slide the new arm so that its blade lines up with the wiper location on the windshield. First, start the retention nut, then, while squeezing it with a torque of 33 to 40 Nm (23 to 29 ft. lbs.), lift the arm and blade off the windshield and secure them fully. After that, attach the arm head cover.
