To put in a new wiper blade, power on the wipers, move the wiper arms on the windshield by cycling between ON and OFF settings and after the blades are where you want them, power off the vehicle. Move the wiper arm upward to raise its blade off the window and free the assembly from the arm by pressing the release tab beneath the arm tip and pushing the assembly sideways.
