2001 Chrysler Town & Country ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2001 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: Before you do any work on the Controller Antilock Brake, you should disconnect the batteries, then remove the battery from the car. After that, pull the vacuum hose from the battery tray tank and remove the screw that fixes the coolant filler neck to the battery tray. After that, take out the battery tray. Unlock the CAB connector lock, detach the 24-way electrical connector and the pump/motor connector and then unscrew everything that is holding the CAB to your vehicle. To attach the CAB, put in the screws, tighten them each to 2 Nm (17 in lbs) and then link up the 24-way electrical and pump/motor cables. Put the battery tray in place and fasten the screw on the coolant filler neck, link the vacuum hose back to the tank and place the battery in its holder. At the end, put back the battery cables and use a DRB III to start up the system.
