In order to service the oil filter, raise the vehicle and put an oil container under. Insert a tool to prevent deformation of the filter, and that too remove it counterclockwise using a wrench. Wipe the mounting surface clean, grease the new gasket and fit the filter tightening it to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
