How to Service and Repair a Muffler on 2001 Dodge Intrepid?

To service the muffler, take the exhaust system off, remove the clamp to separate the rear resonator/pipe from the muffler. The new muffler/resonator is attached, without tightening the clamp, until the system is installed. Finally, tighten all exhaust band clamps to 61Nm (45ft-lbs.).
