How to Safely Remove and Install a Steering Column Cover on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500?

First, disconnect and isolate the car's negative cable from the battery to disable the air bag, wait for two minutes and then remove the steering column opening cover. Then, loosen the two lower screws and insert a trim stick C-4755 or the like into the space below to release the upper clips. When installing, first disable the air bag system by repeating the steps you took at the start. After lining up the G12, tighten the clips in the top and then install the lower screws.
