How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500?

Prior to servicing or repairing the Controller Antilock Brake, first take out the battery negative cable. Open the connectors on the harness and take out the connectors from your CAB. After that, separate the pump motor from the connector and remove the screws holding the CAB to the HCU, then remove the CAB. For installation, secure the CAB onto the HCU, being sure the CAB seal is in the correct place. Put in the mounting screws and tighten them down to 4 - 4.7 Nm (36 - 42 in. lbs.). After that, connect the harness from the pump motor and connect all the harnesses to the CAB; secure them properly. The last part is to reconnect the battery.
