How to service and repair a rear door striker on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500?

To repair and fix the rear door striker, make a mark with grease pencil or similar to mark the location of the striker. Unscrew the bolts and get the striker out. Install the striker again, screw and tighten bolts to 28 N -m (21 ft -lbs) and loosen striker to fit.
