How to service and repair the throttle cable and linkage on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

In order to repair the throttle cable, you should lift the accelerator pedal, remove the cable retainer and core wire. Remove the cable housing from the dash panel and throttle body. Reinstall by snapping the cable end to the lever pin, locking it and testing the throttle, and then reassemble the engine cover and air cleaner.
