First, remove the front axle shaft and then gently lift the seal from the rear end of the axle tube with a small pry bar. After that, remove the axle shaft bearing from the axle tube by using Bearing Removal 6310 and Adapter 6310-9. When installing, wash the axle tube bore out well and clean off any ageing sealer and burrs to make room for the new one. With the part number facing you, place the axle shaft bearing onto the Tube 5000 using Installer C-4198 and Handle C-4171 to make sure it is level with the tube. After that, fit a fresh axle seal by using Installer C-4076-B and Handle C-4735-1 to guarantee the tool presses against the axle tube at the proper depth for the seal.
