How to Service a Door Jamb Switch on 2001 Dodge Ram 3500?

To service the door switch, remove the negative cable on the battery. Use the pliers to gently pull the door ajar switch from the hinge pillar. Unplug the switch from the wire harness then plug it back in, push the switch back in and reconnect the negative battery cable.
