How to Service a Sway Bar Kit on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

First, support and lift up the vehicle before servicing the rear sway bar kit. Release the sway bar links from the spring brackets, detach the brackets from the body rails and pull out the bar and links. Feed one end of the sway bar link over the spring mounting point, then place bolts and nuts next to it to connect it at both ends. Tighten both bolts and nuts to 74 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). After that, put the sway bar onto the body rail brackets and tighten the bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Once all sanding is done, take out the supports and lower the vehicle to the ground.
