To service the steering knuckle, remove the hub bearing and axle shaft. For the ball studs, use Tool Kit 6289. Disconnect tie-rod, remove cotter pins and nuts and then strike knuckle to loosen it. Reinstall by tightening up the nuts and reconnecting components.
