    A: In order to service the fan clutch, loosen the four mounting nuts of the engine. In the case of the 4.0L, remove the fan assembly off the water pump. Option: Take off accessory drive belt and fan shroud. Continue assembling the fan drive, tightening the bolts to the required amount of torque and make sure that the belts are properly laid.
