How to Perform a Seat Switch Replacement for the Driver's Power Seat on 2002 Chrysler 300M?

Before replacing the driver power seat switch, open the hood and take off the negative battery cable from its remote post. Never attempt to service or adjust any part of a seatback mounted air bag system until you have first disconnected and isolated the car battery's negative cable and allowed the capacitor to discharge for two minutes to be safe. Then, unscrew the side shield from the seat cushion, unplug the wiring from the switch and take off the knobs. Take out the screws holding the switch to the frame and pull the switch from the cushion side of the TV stand. For installation, set up the switch and hold it with the attaching screws, attach the switch knobs and then reconnect the wiring electrical connector. Then, install the seat cushion side shield and attach the negative battery cable remote terminal onto the remote battery post.
