How to Maintain and Fix a Thermostat on 2002 Chrysler Prowler?

In order to repair the thermostat, make sure that the system is cool and then disconnect the battery and empty the cooling system. Take out the thermostat housing, the oil filter and hoses. Install housing and new thermostat, reconnect hoses and fill up with cooling system. Lastly, fill up the oil and start the engine.
