How to Service the Rear Door Check on 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To perform the rear door check servicing, lift the glass, take the door trim panel out and loosen the check strap bolts. Take away the check strap, re-adjust the door latch and re-fit the check strap using bolts. Install a replacement seal that has been damaged and then install the water shield and door trim panel.
