2002 Dodge Dakota Window Regulator Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain a Window Regulator for the Rear Door on 2002 Dodge Dakota?
A: Take out the door inner trim panel, then the door waterdam and speaker if you notice one. Then, take the two weather strips out and lower the glass on your door. First, undo the bolts connecting the regulator to the glass, then raise the glass by hand and attach it to the door frame. Unscrew the cap nuts on the regulator attachment and then unscrew and remove both bolts, before disconnecting and uninstalling the regulator wire harness and regulator. Set the window regulator into the door and mount the fixings to hold it in place on the inner panel. First, attach the wire forms for the regulator, then move the glass down manually and place the bolts in each corner of the glass. Perform the glass operation cycle to confirm everything works, connect the door's waterdam and weather strip, cover the radio speaker with its protective plate if one is installed and finish up with recoving the door panel.
