  A: To maintain the hood cable, first take out the remote cord from the lid latch and take out the cowl panel on the left side of the hood. After that, unscrew the hood release handle from the cowl panel and disconnect the rubber grommet at the back of the instrument panel. Push the cable through the hole in the dash and then remove both the cable and its handle from the vehicle. When setting up, position the cable and handle and push the cable through the hole in the dash panel, attaching the rubber grommet to the panel. Secure the hood release handle onto the hood cowl panel with screws, fix the left front cowl panel in its place and join the remote hood cable to the latch. Once you are sure the system fits, close the hood and test the device.
