How to Effectively Service and Repair a Starter Motor on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?

In order to fix the starter motor, disconnect the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle. Take away required bolts to gain access, and remove the starter motor. Install the solenoid wire and battery cable after installation with the right torque. Lastly, take off and reattach the negative battery cable.
