Each of the engines is fitted with a quality disposable oil filter which is better Mopar. The only way to eliminate it is to have a drain pan under it, an oil filter wrench, and turn it counterclockwise. Wipe the area of sealing, grease the new filter gasket and screw it by hand before adding oil.
