How to Remove and Install a Wiper Arm on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?

Hold down the wiper blade, then lift up the wiper arm until it feels like it's locked in place to stop tension on the spring. Press outward on the latch at the pivot end of the wiper arm and remove it from the wiper pivot shaft. You should always put the right wiper arm on the right side, as it's slightly longer than the left one. Before you begin installing, put the wiper arm hinge all the way down. Ensure that the key on the wiper arm lies correctly next to the keyway inside the wiper pivot shaft. Simply press the pivot of the wiper arm down evenly and securely over the wiper pivot shaft till it snaps in and the wiper arm pivot end and the spring-loaded latch are locked. Once you are done, slowly move the wiper arm down so the blade touches the windshield.
